Flooding is possible – Be prepared
A Flood Alert Update has been issued for Dumfries and Galloway.
This alert is for coastal flooding. Due to a combination of high tides, storm surge, and large waves there is a risk of flooding from waves and spray overtopping to low lying areas along the Solway Firth. The greatest risk is around the time of high water during Wednesday early afternoon.
