The prevailing weather forecast, along with very high tides and waves means that flooding from the sea is expected. Gale force south westerly winds also means that a combination of wave overtopping, spray and debris may result in the closure of the North Ford Causeway.

The highest risk is either side of the high tides, which at Balivanich are today Tuesday at 21:45 BST
