A FLOOD ALERT UPDATE has been issued for Orkney.

A period of heavy rain on Monday night into the early hours in the morning on Tuesday could cause flooding impacts from rivers and surface water. Particularly at risk are urban areas and the transport network. Impacts may include flooding to low-lying land and roads, with difficult driving conditions. Isolated properties may also be at risk.
