A FLOOD ALERT has been issued for Argyll and Bute.

A period of heavy and persistent rain on Wednesday is expected to cause isolated flooding impacts from rivers and surface water. Particularly at risk are urban areas and the transport network. Impacts may include flooding to low-lying land and roads, with difficult driving conditions and isolated property flooding.
