A FLOOD ALERT has been issued for Scottish Borders.
On Monday, a spell of persistent and heavy rain is expected to affect the area. There is potential for some localised flooding impacts including: flooding to low-lying land, roads, properties and disruption to travel. The western Borders are at greatest risk of seeing the heaviest of the rainfall. SEPA will continue to monitor the situation and further updates will appear here if the situation changes.
