A FLOOD ALERT has been issued for Tayside.
A period of persistent, sometimes heavy, rain is expected on Tuesday and overnight into Wednesday. This is likely to lead to flooding impacts from surface water and rivers. Ground conditions remain very saturated from recent rainfall which will cause rivers to respond during Tuesday and overnight into Wednesday. Flooding to low-lying land and roads is likely to cause some continued travel disruption, with localised flooding to low-lying properties possible.
Remain vigilant and remember, it is your responsibility to take actions which help protect yourself and your property. Advice and information is available on our website or by calling Floodline on 0345 988 1188.
