A FLOOD WARNING update has been issued for Romannobridge to Lyne Station.


River levels on the Lyne Water are high due to persistent rainfall through Sunday night. Localised showers through Monday will keep water levels high at first. River levels are expected to start dropping during Monday afternoon.

There is a risk of flooding to low-lying areas near to the Lyne Water. Flooding of the caravan park and properties in Rommano Bridge is possible. Standing water on the B7056 at Halmyre Mains may lead to difficult driving conditions. Further updates will be issued as appropriate.
